Youth News From Justin.  Please keep the Youth Ministry in your prayers this summer.  We once again have had an amazing mission trip to The Campbell Farm and you will be hearing more about this in the weeks ahead.  Through July, we have several students who will be heading over to Tall Timber Ranch for summer camp.  Four of our High School students have been accepted in Tall Timber's Youth in Leadership Training camp.

Tall Timber's Youth in Leadership Training camp.  High school kids from all over the state apply for this each year and it is a strong testament to us that four of our kids have been accepted.  Please pray for Pat Felger, as she will be spending the rest of the summer over there, and also for me, as I will be speaking at a camp at the end of the month.  When you see me around, be sure to check in on how things are going, I am sure I will have plenty of exciting things to share with you.

Elisa LeDesky, Ryan Burge, Cameron Johnson and Sean Riney.  We wish you interesting and challenging studies that you handle well.

July 21 will be the only

boutique workshop that month.  We will start at 10:00 A.M. in Heritage Hall.  Bring a sack lunch and a little energy.

This fall the day-time Bible study will be taught by our Director of Adult Fellowship, Kurt Imbach.  We will study either Judges or the Holy Spirit.

I’m looking forward to September!

2006 Mission Yearbooks.  The Mission Team is taking orders for 2006 Mission Yearbooks.  The cost is about $1 each.  If you would like a yearbook but feel a pinch in your budget, your Mission Team would be happy to provide one to you free of charge.

The Yearbook is a study and prayer guide highlighting a different ministry each day of the year.

You can make a difference and be part of their ministry by holding them up to the Lord that day in powerful prayer.  “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”  (James 5:16)

Please place your order with Joan B.  If you prefer, you can order directly from Presbytery USA at (800) 542-2612.

A Note to Margie.  Please take a moment to thank Margie W. for her 20 years of service to the Christian Education Team and Whidbey Presbyterian Church.  She started a Sunday class for adults in the spring of 1985 and has faithfully taught every year since.  A few words in the Log does not seem like enough for her devotion.  I very much appreciate her service.  Thank you, Margie!
