It has been a privilege to be able to fill in for Rev. Dave through the month of July.  You all have been very supportive, encouraging, and cooperative.  It is clearly apparent that our church functions as a result of many dedicated, Christ like, hardworking, competent people working as a team.  It is a pleasure to be a part of that.

We have talked a lot about growth from Ephesians 3:17-4:16 this month, growth in God's love, growth in the unity of the Kingdom of God, and growth in the maturing body of believers which is our local church.  I hope this has helped to set the bar even higher.

Many of the Life Groups are still meeting, and I praise God for their faithfulness, enthusiasm and continuity.  The facilitators met on Thursday, July 21, to compare notes, share hopes and requests, and learn more about the character and vision for life groups so that we can continue to move forward.

Some are not yet in a Life Group and are not sure how to go about it.  I urge you to give me a call, or drop by the church office and let me know of your inters.  I will be glad to work with you to find the right spot for you.  We do believe that this is and will increasingly be, the most effective way for personal spiritual growth and becoming enfolded into the vibrant life of our congregation.

Fall with its new start for Life Groups will be exciting to look towards.
